Features: The 2120's midsole is made from Solyte, a lighter foam than the SpEVA of the previous model

It features a reinforced plastic Space Trusstic wrap under the midfoot offering more support on the medial side (inside) and an extended DuoMax medial post for support and stability

Rear and forefoot Gel cushioning and an Impact Guidance System (IGS) give great shock absorption and stability.

The upper is made from synthetic leather and breathable mesh for lightweight, comfort and enhanced ventilation with reflective piping.

OUR OPINION: The 2120 maintains its success as the best selling running shoe from Asics. Following minor improvements for 2007, this shoe still retains its best selling features and along with the great colour make this a great choice for those in need of extra cushioning and over-pronation control.

The 1120 is the new update of the 1110, the stability shoe for mild to moderate overpronators (slight rolling inwards of the foot while you run).
