The run bra was probably the first Shock Absorber bra to become a favourite of netballers. Catering for all needs, while trianing and playing, the run bra gives you the ultimate secure feeling while you're playing. It has been adapted and improved over teh years too so there's no points of friction while going through the rigours of playing netball.
Size-wise, we recomment that you go up a back size from you usual but keep the cup size the same. This bra comes up small around the back.
Ensuring you choose the right fit is the key to a good performance - to make sure your sports bra gives you the best support, here are some tips to achieve the perfect fit.
Bra base - The band around the chest should be level front and back. It needs to be comfortable but firm. A good way to test that the underband fits well is being able to fit two fingers between the underband and your skin. If there's too much space and the band is too big this could cause friction.
Bra Cups - The bra cup should contain the whole of the breast, with no folds or creases and no cleavage. If the breasts are squashed or cleavage is on show, the cup size is probably too small. If the material is gaping or creasing then the cup size is probably too big.
The Shoulder Straps - there are different style of sports bras, a traditional U Back or Racer Back. The straps should be adjusted to fit securely on the shoulders with only one to two-inch room to manoeuvre.
